The Gartner & 1to1 CRM Excellence Awards

Gartner and 1to1 Media are again joining forces to highlight innovative companies that are making a big impact through their customer relationship strategy and achieving an unrivaled level of excellence in delivering the customer experience. 

WHAT?

The Gartner and 1to1 Media CRM Excellence Awards are all about highlighting world-class CRM initiatives and broadly sharing their successes, challenges and insights.

Awards will be announced for 5 categories of CRM initiatives:

  1. Enterprise-wide – The processes and benefits of aligning multiple channels (online and offline) and functional (marketing to sales, sales to service, service to finance etc).
  2. Growth – Organizations that can point to the most significant improvement in customer value such as revenue growth, wallet share, products per person, frequency of purchase etc.
  3. Efficiency – Reducing operational and interaction costs without a detrimental impact on the customer experience. Excellence in efficiency improvements in sales, marketing and customer service.
  4. Customer Experience – Organizations that can point to the most significant improvement in customer retention/satisfaction/loyalty.
  5. Innovation - The most innovative use of new media (e.g., social networking, analytics, virtual worlds, mobile) to support or enhance an organization's customer strategy

Applicants need to work within a case-study framework to describe their CRM initiative and highlight why it demonstrates CRM Excellence. Award finalists will be invited to present a short encapsulation of their entry as part of a panel during the CRM Summit in March.

There are no limitations on the types of CRM implementations that may be profiled in your application. Whether your example is business to business, or business to consumer, government, direct or through partners - we want to hear your story. So apply today!

HOW?

All applicants from Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific should download and complete the relevant Word-based questionnaire (see below) and then email it to CRM Excellence Awards.

All US, Latin American, South American and Canadian entries can download the entry forms and work from your desk, however an online entry system will be available in January for you to enter your information.

A review team consisting of Gartner analysts and 1to1 Media judges will evaluate and rate each entry based on how clearly the entrant demonstrates excellence in their CRM initiative. The criteria used in evaluating CRM Excellence Award entries includes eight components as outlined in the Gartner research note titled The Eight Building Blocks of CRM as well as 1to1's approach to building profitable customer relationships based on understanding customer value.

Additionally, the three best projects will be invited to present their CRM story to the summit associated with their region.

WHEN and WHERE?

 All entry forms from Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific will be judged against one another. Entries must be received by February 5th, 2010. The winners of those entries will receive their awards at the Gartner CRM Summit in London on March 16-17.

 All US, Latin American, South American and Canadian entries will be judged against one another. Entries must be received by April 7th, 2010. The winners of those entries will receive their awards at the Gartner CRM Summit in Los Angeles, CA on June 28-30.

 Winners and their success stories will subsequently be featured in 1to1 Media print and online publications. Finalist selection and selection of the winner remains at the discretion of Gartner and 1to1 Media and all decisions are final.
