Coaching Employees from the Customer's Point of View


The majority of business leaders cite employee engagement and retention as a top priority. Yet, a recent Gallup study found that only 30% of U.S. workers are engaged. A disturbing figure, indeed, but there are ways to punch up employee engagement.

One way that companies are strengthening employee engagement is by giving employees direct access to customer feedback. Customers love to share their feelings -- good or bad -- about their experiences with companies. These voice of the customer insights can be used not only to improve products and services, but also to reinforce positive employee behaviors and identify potential candidates for further training.
