The Pants and the Service Fit Like a Glove

You may not have heard of Bonobos, but the company is creating a lot of buzz for its fresh marketing, unique customer service, and its approach to selling in general. Bonobos specializes in men's pants that fit tighter than their competitors'. Just a few of the policies that make the company stand-out:

-Customer service representatives (which at Bonobos means everyone at the company) are referred to as "ninjas."

-The company accepts returns at any time for any reason, including (they claim) if the pants have already been worn for months.

-Bonobos offers discounts for service professionals like teachers and police officers.

-During the 2008 election, the company offered pants named "The McCains" and "The Obamas."

These and other interesting facts about the company are highlighted in Bonobos' blog and Facebook page, both of which show it understands how to use social media. Even if you're not into tight-fitting pants, check them out; you might learn something about connecting with customers.
