Videos Depict Value in Customer Service

As the busy shopping season ramps up this Friday (and on Thursday this year in some retail chains), it's important to keep your customer service and frontline staff motivated to provide quality customer experiences.

Some customers could be shopping in your establishment for the first time so first impressions are important; others will be long-term loyal customers whose retention is priceless.

In the spirit of Customer Service Week in October, RightNow invited companies to submit short, humorous videos that illustrate how they value customer service in their organizations. The winners were announced on Monday and are featured on RightNow's website as well as on its Facebook page.

I decided to share the winning videos to help inspire you to motivate and reward your customer service reps and to remind you about the importance of customer service in our organizations. Enjoy!
